we love you bruce

I dont know where to start except to say that bruce bowen was a true spur, and was as big a piece of the last three titles as tim was. He has that silent swagger that kept this team from being soft. He went in night in night out giving up his body for his team and making it harder and harder to score. As George Gervin once said," bring on your top scorer and lets see if he can really score." Though he missed a lot of jumpers off the dribble and just made you cringe at the free throw line, you just couldnt help but root for this guy. He is one of those guys you love to have him on your team, but he can annoy the heck out of you on an opposing team. I truly hope you come back bruce, whether it be coaching or player your true home is where your heart is. You showed your heart in here and we embraced it, we hope this is only a short stint of being off the roster or staff. So Bruce even though this is against your HEB program of staying healthy and what you stand for; this bud is for you. No sports that I like are playing in the summer so for everything you gave for the spurs again this bud is for you Bruce. thanks a million for your work.

Bruce bowen was a key elemnt in our championship run (wich is not over yet). he deserves to have his number retired.

I could see National broadcasting in Bruce’s future. I don’t think there’s a person alive who wouldn’t at the least trade Mark Jackson for Bruce any day of the week.

Ya i bet bruce could do great as a broadcaster. He probaly is one of the funniest nba players out there. I coudl see him maybe as a broadcaster for the spurs hopefully

I hope he’s coming back cause he can shut anybody down individually( including our big three) and he’s a professional and true competitor so i’m sure they’ll still be buddies off da court, but on da court bruce gets down to business. Let’s not forget this is a guy whom Kobe bryant enjoys playing against because Bruce’s defense makes him work jus a little bit more. yea……….kobe, says bruce has D. man……..i’m crying yo……..lol i miss ya bruce.
