Bruce needs his number retired

Bruce bowen deservers to have his number retired. without burce we wouldnt even have the 3 championships. He came in every night and did his job. He is underatted at times cause of the big three. IN realty its the big four. Who could of shut down the likes of kobe,lebron,nash, and many others we faced in the playoffs.GO Bruce GO.

Don’t even pack your bags Bruce. Look for number 12 either on Bruce’ back, or in the rafters. Great points Manu-20. Four guys were together for those 3 Championships, and I think a lot of people outside of SA tend to forget that.

my bruce is a photo of him “hounding” charmin-soft ray allen.

reading his blog post was enough to make my lips tremble and my eyelids fill with water. love LOVE this guy. he is not just one of my favorite spurs, but one of my favorite people. i still consume large quantities of water everyday from a now tattered taco cabana cup with bruce’s picture. my heart-break last year was over my PtR namesake (Brent Barry) leaving town. i guess its just a sign of the times/my age.

we should also remember fab here too. though not as near and dear as bruce, he was a positive contributor and pretty crafty for a guy who couldnt jump more then 2-3 inches off the ground. he is a basketball role model for me for that very reason. actually, bruce and fab are the two role models for my game these days….i suppose that’s more of a comment on my skills than anything else……..
