So, I've been thinking, haven't we all been dwelling a little too much on Kobe Bean's elbow and his taunting of Battier and his generally infuriating smugness? The man is talented beyond belief, obviously. He wouldn't be so hated if he sucked. And why give him the satisfaction of paying so much attention to him? Especially when there are other Lakers to talk about. For instance . . .

There's Andrew Bynum (failing to score any points going all Wayne Brady on Landry in Game 2) . . .

Pau Gasol . . .

Lamar Odom . . .

Sasha "the Machine" Vujacic (seen here being mortally wounded by Fab's wrist) . . .

and all the other fine upstanding young men in gold and purple.

I'll be watching tonight's game at home, popcorn bowl in lap. I offered to watch the game with Laker Boy, but he's been strangely quiet lately. :)

And before Hipuks says anything, I LIKE the flat froggy-face quality of the classic no-space, no-nose smiley. It somehow manages to convey both the smile, the smart-assery, and the underlying apology in one neat package.
