Yet another reason to love George Hill and our Spurs.

What a contrast to other rookie horror stories we heard about this season.

Ooey-Pooey!

Popovich said Hill will be part of the primary rotation next season.

“He’s somebody that’s going to be important to the Spurs both at the point guard and the off guard,” Popovich said. “Obviously the pick-and-roll is big in the league and he’s learning that offensively and defensively, but he’s a fantastic defender. That’s his major skill. He’s learning to shoot the 3, and he’s going to get better as he gets more experience.”

YAY.

After their first-round playoff loss to Dallas, coach Gregg Popovich said he wished he would have played Hill more. He promised to do so next season.

Wait – we were right?

Right after game 5 loss to Dallas Pop was asked something to the tune of “hinesight being 20/20 would you have played George Hill more, earlier in this series” and Pops quick response was “No. Because there is no hinesight”
Sounds like he’s changed his tune. Thank FSM

Maybe Pop has seen the light (i.e. been forced to watch a lot of film) on that one too? Trade him for a SF?

Well, I’ll be damned. If you use more than one exclamation point, they all fall out. That’s . . . well, that’s just unpatriotic.

I slept 6 hours and won’t see a bed until 2am. And… I can’t sleep in late.

I win… I mean lose.

4Am? What’s your excuse?

Yeah, this one’s much more demanding. But it also pays better, I’m part of an international design company, and the projects are great. Besides, I’m learning a lot more – deadlines will do that to you.

And now, work. On a Saturday. Shucks.
