PrintIt's Friday here. Unfortunately, it's Thursday in most parts of the world, especially for PtR members. Fear not though, I'm here to declare my love of Thursdays. Why, you (don't) ask? Of course, Thursday serves as a prelude to good things, and every precursor to something awesome like weekends deserves a win in my book.
So try to smile, breathe deeply and put down your beer for a second. Okay, pick it up now. The last two playoff games are just the tip of the David Stern-berg, and he promises more exciting things to come. Like, Game 2 of the Laker Hate Magnet against Snow Weight and the Seven Rocky Mountain Quarks. Buckle up, losers. It just might get ugly. Maybe short shorts, ugly.

After once again being awed and shamed at the same time by the awesomeness of Aaronstampler's insights, I refuse to recap Game 1 in words, but rather, through super photo-storytelling. Yeah, you heard me. Super. Now allow me, sirs and ma'ams.
After vanquishing the stubborn Rockets, the Lakerbockers delight in watching highlights of their measly victory, unawares that smurfs (yes, them blue fellas) with pickaxes await, ready to smash their ballooning egos.
Their most famous dwarf, Carmelo, he of the mellow and Sleepy kind, catch fire from the get-go and put the Hollywood actors in an early hole. Not good.
The Smurfarmy even employed the Bird Troopers, here seen with a nice butt... I mean, block of one of the Cali giants. Look out Captain Carter! Things don't come THAT huge and tight. The block, that is.
However, behind the scenes, someone puts a devious spell on the blue army's leader, Papa Smurf. The result: subpar shooting and uncharacteristically missing 3 freebies. Papa Smurf NEVER misses freebies.
In the end, the Evil Empire pulls through and wins a close one, thanks in no small part to Incy Wincy Spider, who ate the Smurfs for dinner. Yum. Eww.
Okay, Mamba didn't eat the Nuggets. Or did he really? I don't know. I'm confused. However, I do know that the Thuggers went home, pondering what could've been. What should've been. Now, the blue meanies set out on another journey... and so this begins the next chapter of our story, a.k.a. Game 2, LA vs. Denver. (cue the Imperial March theme)
I got my secret beer stash at work ready. Where are you? If you're not rooting for any team and just enjoy great basketball conversation, welcome to the playoff neutrality fly zone. Seatbelts are absolutely not required.

It’s a valve put on a water line before it enters the water meter. It allows the water meter and the service line to an abode/business/etc. to be replaced without tearing up the street or water main.

I just wanted to comment on the beauty and calm of aquariums. One of my shrimp just ate a half-dead tadpole, starting from the tail. The poor bastard was being eating alive until the shrimp had enough, left the corpse, and another shrimp picked it up and proceeded to eat the rest of the remains.
