Milk...the drink
I have one word that the Spurs training/medical staff might want to think about for Manu for the next several years. It's a simple word and I can't believe those people didn't think about it. The word?
Calcium
If the man has a fracture it's clear that he needs a bit more calcium in the diet. The fact that he got another one? Outrageous! I won't hold the training staff responsible for me feeling like this was a wasted season, but really, give the man a glass of milk. Look what it'll do for you:
I'm not sure how far the Spurs can go with the way they're currently playing, but if Pop is smart, he gives the young guys a chance to prove themselves in the playoffs and then we look even better come next year. I doubt that'll happen, but hey we can dream.
If it weren't the fact that yesterday was opening day in baseball and the Rangers rolled 9-1, it would have been the most depressing sports day since the OT loss to the Mav's in '06.

Haha
That’s the same thing I’ve been saying about Knee-Mac, Marcus Camby, and countless other oft-injured players. Marcus Camby/Knee-Mac are made of glass, but Manu just has logged too many minutes over the past 5 or 6 years. Resting will be good for him.
