Missed the Cavs game

though i did check the box score this morning when i woke up.

Apparently George hill is good for 5.45 per night and the JV is rocketing along at around 11.  Slightly perturbing. In fact diabolical.

I am pretty much horrified that Pops lost his marbles and is divvying up the rotations based on who has the shiniest head.

Someone put my mind at ease..please...did George get an elbow to the face or some such dastardly act that held him out of the fight?

The dastardly act that is keeping George off the floor is Pop deciding he is too young to play at this point of the season. Meh. It’s becoming a struggle to get to that 50 win mark. Someone here said that before the season began, but I forgot who.

The paper quoted Pop saying that JV provides more stability to the offense.

Wow

If the stability equates to him not being about to hit open jumpshots, he’s the man. Wow, is Pop trying to drop to the 5 or 6 seed or something. Just wow…

Then I’ve got one for ya.

Stability? The man could not have been watching that game(which is rather disturbing, since he had a front row seat). When he decided to play the JV to start the 2nd quarter, you know what happened? A 10-0 Cavs run. We didn’t score for the first 5 minutes of that quarter. Honestly….. before that, we were actually keeping up. Pop is downright delusional if he thinks the JV’s time on offense today was a good thing. Although, if by “stability”, he means “guaranteed not to score”, then he’s absolutely right.

And Pop said "Let there be Mace"; and there was Mace. And Pop saw what he had done, that it was good. But it was not a point guard, and Pop was blind to this.

love the shiniest head line

you’re lucky to miss it. As soon as Parker when out I turned it off. I knew it was over when parker hit the bench

The JV is stable offence

He regularly provides none.

Can’t get much more stable than that.

The way Manu moved on defense I think he’s still not comfortable with his ankle and with Duncan hurting, plus the rotation wasn’t set yet, I don’t expect much this season. Without Manu and Tim we don’t have the offense to match with much more young and athletic teams in the play offs.

My two cents...

The team looks slow both on defense and offense. No matter what line up we had. The Cavs on offense were always able to find a way to get a good shot. If their first offensive set was contested, they passed around to find something else and we were mostly late to adjust. The team is lethargic, they need to wake up. Pop needs to wake up.
