I think Kendrick Perkins and David West should have a reality show where they go to a psychologist and talk about what in their life made them so freaking angry. Afterward they have a scowl-off, and the show ends with a guest appearance by KG in which he talks about how being beaten up by a girl in his teenage years has caused him to be way too intense for the rest of his life.

It’s actually legal in Denver to have up to 3 oz (federal limit?), but they are still trying to prosecute by state law. But all the test cases have been thrown out on technicalities.

I’ve never understood why liquor is legal and pot isn’t. Of course, I’m totally an alcohol person, but in my book, they’re the same level.
I totally agree. I don’t smoke now, but have in the past.

Sorry, didn’t see this last night. No, not Seguin, Thank God. I went to school there and would not wish that place on anyone. My kiddo goes to school in Caldwell Co. even though we live in Guadalupe. I think a SISD alumni was in charge of drawing the lines around here. Heh.
I don’t give out where we live due to it being one of the many “small towns” in this area. I had some issues with a few lame ass internet stalkers in the past and we had an issue with a peeping tom out here too. Although, I think my shotgun would have taken care of that one had he not hauled ass when he was spotted. Wuss.
It just worries me, you know? I’d rather take precautions than have to deal with this shit. We all know how kids are about washing hands and not being able to keep them to themselves.

There’s this one scene where the shark is hunting a seal and it swims up and grabs the seal in its jaws while flying out of the water. If I had been on that film crew, I would be “umm, I think it’s time to head back to shore now before that shark jumps on this boat.”

Have you ever seen them hunt seals by going all the way to the shore? It’s very risky, but they do that. Anyway, sometimes, after they’re full from eating, they grab seals anyway, and flung them in the air, as if it playing. Of course the seal gets torn apart.
I saw that once in a documentary, and I though, that’s such a d-bag move.
They also hunt whales in packs. I like whales.

Some one explain this to me (since I’ve never lived in Texas). Spurs fans hate the Mavs (which I get), but not the Rockets (which I don’t, since they are in the same division). Knowledge, anyone?
In my case it’s just that I grew up in Houston.
I don’t really hate the Mavs, either. Hipuks will sneer at me for this, but I can’t make myself hate other teams.

San Antonio and Houston haven’t been rivals for a long time—they’ve only met once in the playoffs. Plus, they’ve never fielded a team with a bunch of D-bags like Dallas with Cuban, Jet, Howard, et al.
Also, one of my best friends is from Houston. Then again, most of my family lives in Dallas. I can’t really explain—Dallas as an area is just real douchey.

Been there. It’s bad in CO with the altitude. I put on SPF 45 whenever I gonna spend more than 30 minutes outside.
Everytime I go camping, I get so sunburned that when I come back people ask me if I mow their lawn or sell them oranges. To which I say, of course.

That sucks, your comedic material having to do with race is severely limited.

Oh, but making fun of rednecks it’s cool.
Here is how it is, if you’re white, you can make fun of whites, and some mild jokes about other races maybe, but you really have to watch it jokes having to do with blacks, Jews jokes are mostly fine.
If you’re a minority, it’s pretty much all safe, except some black jokes and maybe Jewish jokes.
If you’re black, then you can make fun of everything.
If you are any race, you can make fun of rednecks, because no one cares.
Some exceptions of course apply, like Sarah Silverman.

That’s one of the Philadelphia Hare Raisers last night.
Here’s some of their practice footage that’s fun to watch. Hell of a lot better than a gorilla, that’s for sure. Possibly even better than dunkin’ cheerleaders, but I don’t want to call down the wrath of LD.
Shame on you. I will steal this for my blog, but let me tell you that the Power Dancers are not far behind these guys – in fact, I’ve seen some better dunks from them. And they’re 1000 times more aesthetically pleasing.
