48MoH: Offseason Breakdown: Drew Gooden and the Frontcourt
Tim Varner doing his thing. It makes sense, but we'll see. We know what Gooden can do. We don't know what Ian or Gist will provide - if they ever make it.

Good read
Very interesting read. I tend to agree, of course this all hinges on Mehinmi. So you’re right, we’ll see.

I still can’t believe we let Pops get away. All we had to do was release Vaughn and sign him for the rest of the year.

Dag, that was pretty stupid right there.

I agree with GG as well. Gooden is too much of a defensive liability to move forward with. I hope Mr. Glass Mahinmi is drinking plenty of milk and sharpens his game up. It’s time to hit big time next season.

He needs to start, from the very first game. I know it sounds crazy, but that’s the only way he’s going to become comfortable enough with the team to make a splash in the playoffs when the games get tougher. Also, it will let our older guys rest more during the season(especially if we keep Kurt or sign ’Sheed).
I’ve got some other ideas that I’ll put forward soon, probably this weekend.
