Thursday Night Loser Thread

Good evening my fellow Spur fans. It's another Thursday night Loser thread extravaganza. For our NBA entertainment tonight, we have the Mavs going for a predictable loss against the Hornets. In game 2, we have Team Implosion aka the Denver Nuggets going against the Portland Trailblazers, which leads me to a question. How long will the Denver ownership/management put up with George Karl and his prima donna antics? No disrespect to him because he is a cancer survivor, but he's a lousy coach. Let's discuss the games and anything else that may be on your minds.

82-0 would be nice (though I think we need another coach to achieve that). Yeah.. but maybe I just feel extra bad that it was the Mavs and they’re just a bunch of suck. I’m comparing it to those paltry losses to Toronto and New York but Cuban just has a special place in my cold, black heart.

If we had Scola, Splitter and Pops, we could probably go 81-1. That one loss coming on the last day of the regular season when Pop sits the starters to spite the league and deny them the first undefeated season in NBA history.

That’s funny you mention that. I’m trying to remember the season when teams collectively started slowing their pace. It had to start with those Piston teams in the late 80’s, but I know for a fact that the Pat Riley Knick teams of the early 90’s just about beat the air out of the ball when he was their coach.
