damn I don't have a Yahoo account
and am far too lazy to make one.
But to give you some of my picks for the NCAA tournament. I have my elite eight as Louisville, Mich. St, Maryland, UConn, Villanova, Pitt, Oklahoma, and UNC. Final Fours is Michigan St., UConn, Villanova, and Oklahoma. The championship game will be Michigan St. and Oklahoma.
And the winner is………………… Michigan State!!!!!!!
With the drafting of Manu and Parker and the signing of Oberto, the International Basketball era began in San Antonio. showing that all of the world's people can, in fact, come together in peace and harmony. After all, every nationality loves to kick the Hornets' asses.

- seed, only lost to the Buckeye because of an off-night shooting, top-10 team, sounds like a good team to me.

Come on now
Baseball is awesome…what is y’alls problem? It’s the best summer sport ever. It’s best if you’re at the game, but it’s a good place to relax, watch sport, drink cold beers, plus you get to root against the New Yank Yorkees.

because it’s the ONLY sport played in the summer.

by Big50 on Mar 18, 2009 3:24 PM CDT up reply actions 0 recs
by the right pace do you mean
slower than a turtle on sleeping pills? Then yes. Other than the big home run there’s nothing good in baseball. It’s like strike, strike, ball, strike, next batter, strike, single, next batter, strike, strike, strike, next batter, ball, ball, foul ball, foul ball, foul ball, foul ball, foul ball, double, next batter, out on first swing.

If you're watching
a pitchers duel, then yes. If you watch the Texas Rangers then it’s much more exciting than that. I’ll admit baseball is a slower sport, but it’s not boring. I’ll also admit it’s way way better in person. Unless you have a rooting interest baseball is hard to watch on tv…at least during most of the regular season.

I can’t watch any A’s games on TV. I know I wouldn’t be bored watching my Athletics, but everyone else is bla. Not like the NBA, NHL, or NFL where there are actually rivalries and storylines other than steroids.

For me, the tournament is best in the early rounds, where #14 seed Nowhere State hits a buzzer beater to defeat #3 seed Famous Basketball University (or at least taking them down to the wire). You get multiple games at once, and somewhere, something like that is going down. Then you see the team of 5’10" coaches’ sons running around and celebrating while 6’8" future NBA players and D-Leaguers walk dejectedly off the court.
I tend to lose interest as the tourney goes on, though.

what better way to start the mourning process after learning of a family member’s death then to have a few drinks. You know your eyes will be too tear-filled to be able to drive to a bar, so there’s a safety risk. The hospital bar saves the hospital work, possible lawsuits, and it makes money from the bar itself.
