If you havent seen it yet

My favorite thing about the NBA on mondays is the last Garbage Time All-Stars. Its a NBA-based comic, very funny and incredibly accurate. I recommend it for a couple of big laughs. Besides the caricatures are just awesome.

Their official page

Their monday updates get posted on Ball dont Lie, the last one catched my atention because it includes Tony and Tim in two very funny frames: HERE

I like how the guy that thinks about the "script" has a lot of good knowledge about the NBA.

Funny stuff

The one they did last week was the best one I’ve seen.

"....It is more about them than it is about the team. Cannot play with them. Cannot win with them. Cannot coach with them. Can’t do it. I want winners!" - Mike Singletary

That duncan frame is classic.

I remember one that had a Spurs zombie coming out of his grave and saying something like “I want more championships”. Funny.

Im Glad guys you like it. The Sam cassell emerging is one of my favorite.

BTW, on another note, Hornets, Rockets and Suns all lost against sub par teams.
What a good monday, I should go to the casino now

People are Scared of Timmeh

From the comments below the comic strip …

“Tim Duncan is Scary.”

“Tim Duncan is a skrull.”

And the kicker …

“HEY! Amare Stoudamire does NOT! eat ice cream when on defense”

by Sabrewulf on Feb 10, 2009 1:34 PM CST reply actions   0 recs

No, he's right.

There’s no way Amare would be that close to the ice cream on defense. It’s right in his grill. Amare would be five feet away staring at the ice cream cone on the scorer’s table, with a sad and vacant expression on his face.

I do like the image of Kevin Durant in space though. He looks confused.
