Hey folks.

Thanks for flagging the asinine and offensive FanPost. It has been erased and the user banned. That type of content is not accepted and I enforce a zero-tolerance rule.

That user also registered another account from the same IP address. That account was also banned. I can have the IP address banned if necessary.

I have a friend at Rackspace. I can have anything connected to that ip address emitting small puffs of smoke in a few minutes.

As much as we all joke around (and by and large, we all know when jest is taking place), crap like that isn’t funny. LD’s right in that he probably was just trying to make a joke, but it’s out of context when you’re brand new and it’s NEVER appropriate anyway when taken to that length.

Thanks for having character, Matthew. Truly, I am very thankful that I site I love so much is honestly committed to respect and integrity and doesn’t stand for that kind of crap.
