Fox> Spurs not yet jelled, but could still turn into force
* McDyess: "This is the most difficult scheme I've been in on offense and defense," he said. "Of course, I've been in one place for so long I knew there would be an adjustment period. Everything here is so exact; every play there's so much detail."
* Jefferson: "Of course there will be an adjustment period. The schemes here are very different, very involved. We just have to take things one game at a time. Like tonight. We want a 'W' but we also want to progress. We know it's a process. We just have to keep getting better every game and we'll see where we are at the end of the year."

I found the comments more interesting than the actual article.
There is alot of respect for San Antonio from opposing fans….

One of the commenters, Kobe-Kong, gives this explanation for RJ’s troubles:
I have a theory about RJ’s struggles, I saw him not to long before the season started at a Ralphs Groceries and he was purchasing about $500 worth of booze, right after he had all but left his fiancee at the alter. I wonder if he suffers from a little bit of ShawnKempism.
While I think this is a possibility, it would only affect him physically if he’s drinking his troubles away every night. It wouldn’t explain for the lack of cohesion or assertiveness that he is displaying. Besides, as cliche as it might sound, when one is on the basketball court, their troubles all go away and only one thing matters. I’m afraid it’s his lack of basketball IQ that is the main reason for his struggles. Even if he wasn’t getting his touches, if he was a smart enough player, he would find other ways to contribute. He’s not asserting himself in either end of the court. Oh Peanut.

I fail to see what’s wrong with purchasing $500 worth of liquor, especially around the holidays.

I was going to suggest using the breathalizer on Jefferson at halftime but I didn’t want to pick on the guy when he’s struggling.
