Good evening all! We've got lots of NBA action tonight! 9 games in total, and as I mistakenly posted earlier (and have since edited) it is Fan Night on NBA-TV. I know you'll all be stunned, make sure you're sitting down- yes, it's true, the Lakers are on NBA-TV tonight. (Have the Spurs EVER won fan night? When they aren't playing the Lakers, I mean...)
I recommend the ESPN gamecast, or any feeds that anyone can find (but you can't post them here!). There are always our local affiliates, for any of us spread across the country. Tonight's schedule is as follows:
There's lots of Western Conference action tonight. The Mavs, Rockets and Lakers all play. Let's hope the Mavs will tire the Blazers out for tomorrow night? As always, who loses big?

Pacers and Celtics in a dogfight
...Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is forty five.
Granger isnt even playing

Celtics are having a hard time with the Granger-less Pacers? What a bunch of suck.
No decent team with championship aspirations should ever be in a close game against a Granger-less Pacer team.

I think Rose had an injury, dint he? I know Tyrus Thomas has been out awhile, but I know he connot be the sole reason they are losing. I must blame lasiness and contentness.
Yea, Tyrus has only played in 4 games so far. He has decent Big man stats. But still , Joakim Noah is playing so well….

The phrase “pulling a Marbury” has so much baggage attached to it now, that I must say I appreciate the additional description of what you meant, seeing as you also could have bee saying that Robinson was:
about to down some Vaseline.
going to get a head tattoo.
thinking of exposing himself to ridicule via a series of webcasts.
setting out to exile himself from the NBA ranks.

At work today I got into a mild friendly debate with a few co-workers on greatest PF pf all time. Of course I stood pat on Duncan. Other names thrown in the mix were KG and Karl Malone. I agreed, both geat players, but just have not done what Tim has. And I question their clutchness.
KG doesn’t come close. Malone, maybe. But Duncan trumps everything he did, except scoring (I’m not sure; too lazy to research).

Duncan does not score more than Malone did. Malone’s #2 all time, I believe.
I don’t believe that there’s anything that any great PF has done, with the exception of actually winning the DPOY award (of which Duncan has made the All-Defense team how many years running now? Try every year?) that Tim has not done atleast twice. He will exit the NBA as one of it’s most decorated players of all time.
That’s what I thought.

Its funny because all that really matters in this game is winning.
How many people would consider Michael Jordan the greatest of all time if he had no titles? Not very many people…

Heh, I don’t even want to defend Tim. His resume speaks for itself.

How can you question something that definitively doesn’t exist?

The Trailmix are missing half their godamn team and still beat the ponies…..
About the only thing that Portland has going for them is that neither of their superstars has been injured.
