POLL: Which team will make the playoffs?
It is a little over 1/4 of the way through the season already and while it is still very early, some things are starting to take shape.
So based on what you've seen so far, which of the following teams is most likely to make the playoffs at the end of this season?
(In the spirit of the holiday season I decided to focus on the positive. Perhaps after the new year there will be another poll asking which of the top 8 teams in the West is most likely to miss the playoffs.)
Playoff Race Fun Fact: Miami is currently the 5th seed in the East with a record of 13-11 (.542). That record would only earn them the 9th in the West and a lottery pick.
So tell us which of these teams will move up enough to make the playoffs this season?

OKC. They’re my favorite out of the teams listed. The Thunder may not have as much talent as every other team listed (on paper you could argue that’s the W’s- but they just look lost.), but they somehow have a better record, and also have Kevin Durant.
I’m with you on OKC, they’re a very young and explosive basketball team. No one should be surprised when they not only make the playoffs but pull off a first round shocker, other than that they aren’t near a second round playoff team let alone a championship team.
The team right now just needs experience, give them a few more years and will be wishing Durant was on our team.
Psh, I don’t need a few years to wish Durant was on our team. I’d give up anything outside of our big 3 for him now! We’d find a way to make it work. I’m sure he’s under the full rookie contract.
Blair for Durant — straight up!
And no one’s a bigger Blair-maniac than me!

One or two years from now that might be considered blasphemy.

OKC
if Westbrook can stop turning it over, the could be a very good team. They look kinda like a young Cavs team.

Where’s the “More than one” option? Phoenix and Portland could both slip, and it’s not like the Rockets or (objectively) Spurs are mortal locks at this point.
::gasp::

As I explained in the Poll description:
(In the spirit of the holiday season I decided to focus on the positive. Perhaps after the new year there will be another poll asking which of the top 8 teams in the West is most likely to miss the playoffs.)No team is a mortal lock this early.
The Lakers "Too big, too strong, too long, too good."
The way things are going you might want to add our injury riddled Blazers to the poll.

blazers
portland is currently 20-12 thats 0.625 with a 4 winning streak and number 4 seed, where 6th,roy is not at 100% but when some players are back they’ll be good.u saw what they’ve done to us depleted and no roy right.but i really think and hope that our team if on the same page esp that the bench and td is playing gr8 will be way better than l.a. its just manu, dice and rj whom i find inconsistent.but if pop now knows the right combination we’ll be deadly and next time we meet them(which idk if how many games we have to paly with them cuz now where 0-2 against them)we’ll win with them 90%(oden i think is out for the season)back or not.
okc
i love okc their may 3rd fave team.if they make the playoffs this yr and yrs to come even if its always 1st rnd exist or 2nd rnd lost, will give them enough experience to win a ring after this teams win.
3-4 rings for s.a.(‘10,’11,‘12,’13 if you may)
denver(‘14)
portland(’15)
atlanta(‘16)
chicago(’17)
and okc!(’18)
just my predictions and prayers!
