I also dled Grave of the Fireflies. It’s a Ghibli movie, Japanese animation done by a brilliant man. I hear it’s incredibly sad, so I really need some emotional support before watching it.

It’s from Argentina, about an old guy who’s fired from his work at a gas station and his life is pretty sad really, when he encounters a purebred Dogo and things start changing.
It’s a bit slow paced, but I liked it.

Oh, Carlos Sorin’s. Yeah, I’ve heard of it. Sorin’s movies aren’t usually my thing, because nothing really happens, but he has a distinctive style I find pleasing to the eye.

I’ve been looking for more gangster movies to watch. I’ve found one called the Yakuza Papers which is a 5 film series, and then I found out about this trilogy called The Human Condition about WWII which is supposed to be soul crushingly depressing.
But to start I think I’m gonna download Once Upon a Time in America, a 3 hour 50 minutes crime epic.
