ESPN> Agent: Randolph not against trade
* Executives mentioned New York and Houston as clubs that have interest in Randolph, but he will not be easy to move because of the great disparity between his small salary ($1.8 million) and his perceived upside. The most likely trade scenario would include Randolph as part of a larger deal that featured a more accomplished player.
"I don't know that Randolph's stock has dropped around the league," the executive said. "He's a great talent; he just hasn't done much yet. So he's more of a sweetener that could get another deal done if you threw him in."

Mason/Bonner for AR and Bell. Throw in Ian if they want another “upside” guy.
The Spurs - now playing like sh*t again!
Not bad, but Fin better start making his threes. And Raja Bell too, once he’s healthy.

Of course, Keith would be out of a job if we landed Bell.(unless Bell can guard the 3?)

What’s better than a defensive specialist among a team of scorers? Two defensive specialists.

A few weeks ago TrueHoop had the Spurs as one of the teams inquiring about Bell. It’s a possibility.
I’ve always loved Raja. He reminds me of Bruce in a lot of ways, most noticeably the fact that he’s held Kobe to bad shooting nights seemingly every time he’s faced him. If we want to keep pace with LA, Bell would be a great tool for Pop to have in his toolbox.

Raja has an expiring contract, they wouldn’t want to just give him to us. They’d want to either get talent or unload a contract on us.
They’d want to unload Maggette’s contract on us. So unless RJ shows us he can play well, consistently, I’ll throw out this trade scenario.
RJ, Bonner, Mahinmi, for Maggette, Bell, and Randolph.
Bonner and Mahinmi are expiring contracts, RJ is a mammoth contract but for only 2 years as opposed to Maggettte’s 4, so it would help Golden State a bit there. We’d be tied to Maggette for an awfully long time though. I’m not sure if it’s good. RJ would go to being the second offensive weapon on that team, so his scoring would go up. Maggette would still come with the hard-headedness that he always has, so he won’t worry about stepping on others’ shoes and score. Also, just because I like him, I would like to somehow swap Azubuike for Finley/Mason. I know he’s injured, but his offense is as good as theirs, and his defense is much better. In their defense though, they do some stuff better than him (Finley is basically Pop’s idea of “savvy”, and Mason has better court vision).
