Does she get channel 5? It has NBA coverage once or twice per week, but it’s in the early morning hours, so you need to stay up real late or tape it to watch the next day.

They have a featured game of the week, plus highlights from other games from the previous week. It is usually on a Sunday evening (actually Monday morning), and they would often have another game during the week.

Krib. Pelvicachromis Pulcher

Pelvicachromis pulcher is a freshwater fish of the cichlid family, endemic to Nigeria and Cameroon.1 The species is popular amongst aquarium hobbyists,123 and is most commonly sold under the name kribensis, although the species has other common names, including various derivatives of kribensis: krib, common krib and rainbow krib, along with rainbow cichlid and purple cichlid.14 Originally P. kribnesis, its Latin name was changed to P. pulcher. Pulcher is Latin for “beautiful”.
P. pulcher is native to southern Nigeria and to coastal areas of Cameroon, where it occurs in warm (24–26 °C, 75-79 °F), acidic to neutral (pH 5.6 – 6.2), soft water (12-22 mg L-1 [CaCO3]).25 Populations of P. pulcher also occur outside its natural range in Hawaii, USA as a by-product of the ornamental fish trade.8
Despite the suggestion in some aquarium literature that the species feeds on worms, crustaceans, and insects,10 analysis of the stomach contents of wild P. pulcher suggests this is incorrect. A study by Nwadiaro (1985)5 of 161 individuals showed that the main food items were diatoms, green algae, pieces of higher plants, along with blue-green algae. Invertebrates, though consumed, were found to be relatively uncommon food items for wild fish.
The species should be housed in minimum volumes of 80-90 litres (21-25 gallons).2 Fine gravel should be used as a substrate, as the species likes to burrow and to excavate caves. Quartzitic substrates should be avoided as they interfere with larval development and may cause fry mortality.14 The aquarium should mimic the natural environment, and should be decorated with numerous caves, plants and hiding places.4 Dither fish are useful in reducing the innate shyness of the species.2 The species is an unfussy feeder and will accept a range of prepared foods.4 They spawn readily in captivity and will accept artificial caves as substitutes for the holes used for spawning in the wild.3 Although tolerant of a range of water chemistries, the species has a preference for, and is more likely to breed when, maintained in soft, acidic water.5

i was thinking about the future, RJ contract is killing us

by spursfan87 on Dec 15, 2009 10:39 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

No joke. Unless he steps it up, we’ve lost 14M in cap room to chase someone next summer. At the very least we could take someone else out of play with us.

just caught up to the bitter end. i was seriously blaming my positive mojo after stepping out -20 and the spurs getting it back to one. but it was not to be.

when pop finally had to rest tim, mace, manu and george – the guys who came in couldnt hold up. looking at you tony and RJ. i know those guys sat for a long time while the other guys were bringing us back, but they contributed nothing when they got back in the 4th. nothing.

the spurs big 3rd tonite is really gonna screw up the normally poor averages for our favorite quarter.

tip of the cap to the suns. i feel like we were trying to hit nolan ryan tonite when he had no hit type stuff. everything went right for the suns. we were good to make it a game as well as things went for them. there will be games like ths in the NBA – which is why we needed to win some of the games we have dropped so far.

I knew there would be games like this. But not ten games like this in the first 22.

I’m going to pretend it’s 10 pm and that I’m going to get plenty of sleep for once.

Good night, good people. Til next time.

Hilariously maladjusted. But for all the right reasons.

I’m going to pretend the Spurs won and put it in my status on facebook.

I'm back, finally

Haven’t been here in a long time because the Suns were a bunch of losers last year. But, Nash got his wings again when they fired Porter so things have improved. And, it is always a great day when the Suns make the Spurs miserable. You should bring back Cheap Shot Bob, maybe he could take out Nash again. And, I think you really miss The Bowen Enforcer. It is not nearly as much fun watching the Spurs get beat when they are not the dirty team they used to be. But Ginobli is still flopping so that reminded me of the good times we used to have.
Nice game, too bad you were so easy this time.

believe it or not, this guy is classier than the Suns fans we met on the street after the game.

Hi, good day to you. Thank you for your insights. We hope to beat your Suns in our next meeting.

Yeah, this might just be the year the Suns finally win the championship after, I dunno, ever.

Please get in line. The young season, a remade roster and the stubborn mantra to build the team the Spurs way are bound to produce some gut wrenching nights. Kudos to the Suns for playing well tonight but if you are a long time Suns fan, you should know better than to celebrate this early. Most teams have people who try to get offensive fouls against the opposing team. Most teams that play some sort of defense that is. Although I’m not clear on your said good times, I do remember this decade’s playoff series against the Suns. Like you, I too look forward to February 2010.
