Hornets pushing all the wrong buttons with Paul
there was a bit of an animated discussion in the (first) thunder game thread about chris paul's role in the firing of byron scott, and well...i don't like to say "i told you so"......

If that’s true, the higher-ups in New Orleans are even stupider than I first thought. While they’re at it, they might as well trade Paul instead of Okafor.

For grins, what do you think they’d want in return? :-P

We could probably get away with Tony and Roger for CP#, if the Hornets were even interested in moving him(there’s no reason to believe that they are).

what would be amusing is if this whole debacle caused paul to ask to be traded, forcing their hand…

I love Tony.
But I’m good with that trade. Except the Hornets might have to include someone else for it to match, like Devin Brown (welcome home) or Collison.
But I have a feeling they’d want to get rid of Peja, and I don’t think we can take that. Too bad.

Tony should retire a Spur.
