ESPN> Iverson, Grizzlies agree to part ways

* The Grizzlies announced Monday in a statement that the team has ended its one-year contract with the 10-time All-Star and former league MVP in what it called a mutual agreement. Iverson is expected to be placed on waivers by 6 p.m. ET Monday, a league source told ESPN.com's Chris Sheridan.

It is shame, people tend to forget how great he was, I dont know why Memphis did not started him, he’s still much better than Conley, well thats why they are Grizzlies.

You know DJ….

DJ..Ive seen the tape of that melee probably at least 10 times.

But after watching it again just now…those Pistons fans were so fu^&in out of line.

They were throwing drinks and who knows what else at the Pacers heads as they were trying to exit the court through the tunnel.

Just an embarassing scene for those fans…

Absolutely.

I have a hard time finding fault in athletes who finally snap in the face of constant jeering and heckling and disrespect. And for those who keep their composure, I have a lot of admiration.

(No, I’m not defending anyone who goes into the stands or throws a punch—I’m saying I can understand it, though.)
