Wallpaper: From Under the Radar

At the open scrimmage, I took a picture of the rafters in the AT&T center (which you can see on my recap post). So I realized I could use it to make a wallpaper out of Big50's quote "From under the radar to hanging in the rafters" which has been further beat into my head by JRW using it as a signature. Obviously not enough though...I changed "hanging" to "up" when I typed it from the top of my head. It felt good to work with some color after doing the pocket knife and graying out all of the color.

Anyways, here is the wallpaper in 1024 x 768. After the jump, more resolutions....

BlaseE, you rock.

But I do have one suggestion: if you’re going to be turning all of our signatures into wallpapers (thanks for that, by the way) I feel that you should have started with CMoney’s.

Not that I’m complaining, or anything.

I honestly didn’t look at your signature while doing it. I thought the 5 in ’10 was part of the quote and thought it fit since the banner says 2010 on it and you can see it as the 5th banner. So I subconsciously made your signature, but I was really just working off the Big50 quote.

I can chop and mess with geometry and colors. I can’t draw. You’d need an artist to sketch Superman in some Manu pajamas in bed or brushing his teeth getting ready for bed. I just got an idea….. I might have something for you in a few weeks…

clark kent is recognizable as superman because he doesn’t wear his glasses to bed unless lois lane is sleeping over….and in that case, he only wears the Manu pajamas if she is in the mood for that kind of thing

Two more comments about the wallpaper:

1. Does it bother anyone else that there isn’t a Western Conference title banner for 2010?

2. Another one of my motivations for this was that I think the majority or a large amount of PTR’ers aren’t in SA or even the US so I wanted everyone to see our banners and our arena as they are both parts of the franchise we love and they don’t really show them on tv/feeds.

Don’t worry about adding in the Western Conference banner. It doesn’t bug me as much as for the fact that you covered up our DIVISION titles man! 20 years of division titles down the drain cause of you!
