This Week in San Antonio Spurs Basketball: Monday Spursvalanche
The goal: for these TWSS posts to be your one stop for all things Spurs-related. And since preseason is now officially over, we might stick to a format for more than a week.
Feedback is always appreciated, so drop us a comment after the jump.

I am nitpicking here, but while assessing the Spurs last season, Jeff Garcia actually described Ime Udoka as " athletic ". So you can cross him off my christmas list as well ( for spouting such uninformed gobbledygoo )

I will take Gervin over Manu for getting MJ’s goat (listen to the HOF speech).

Yup, great job! I love how you incorporated the news source logo! Good stuff.

I would like to make a suggestion bout the blog. There’s a big vacant space in black on the right corner. Maybe we can enlarge the fanpost area since that is one of the most active parts.

You can change the number of FanPosts you see in your account settings. And about that vacant space, are you sure you’re not talking about an ad space you don’t see because you’re using AdBlock?

I’m going to rec this in hopes that it turns green, LD. With all the new content pushing stuff off of the front page quickly, changing your settings makes it easier to see the latest and greatest activity on PtR, especially if you’re obsessive about reading most of the comments (like me).

I’m glad I’m the only one who doesn’t click on All FanPosts and All FanShots to be able to read every single last comment. I’m pretty sure it’s a mild form of OCD.

Huh. I know I’ve delurked for almost a year now but I didn’t know that yet. I’m a hack. Thanks, LD.

never knew that, thanks LatinD. Oh and everyone here has already told you, but one more wouldn’t hurt. I love the new format, makes it simple to know what you’re looking at or searching for. Really really good job. Thanks a ton of feathers.

the only thing worse than a glass half empty person, is a glass half empty person that doesn’t explain why he sees it half empty. Give your input, and what you think could be better and I’m sure LatinD will try to fix it if he can. Rule with an iron hand ATS! This is your kingdom.

You should see the emails, tlo. The iron hand is there. Believe me.
On second thought, maybe it’s better that you don’t see the emails. Like a Pop tirade that’s easy to watch from your couch at home, you might not be able to weather the storm first hand.

Ice over Manu, but only b/c of Gervin’s longevity in the NBA rather than the overall completeness of their games. They are both very special – two of the greatest SG’s ever.
by 4Him on Oct 26, 2009 12:34 PM CDT reply actions 0 recs
i posted in that blog that they should have factored in Manu’s years abroad. Then if you would add his awards – NBA, Euroleague & Olympic, only one of two ever in the history of humankind. Then it pretty much settles it. We’re not even mentioning his page-long individual awards.
But if it’s only NBA then Gervin by Pop’s whisker

Hey, I like the new format!
For this week only I propose a special section titled:
Why dogs hate Halloween!
OK, I’ll start. For some reason when I saw this one I thought of Hipuks as he takes his dog for a walk (no offense dude).

This next one looks like my dog . She would never stand for that hood & pigtails crap but she’d love a basket of goodies.

And lastly, I would totally take my dog for a walk like this if she’d let me. I call it canine aerial vehicle.

OK the frog dog can come but the vampire dog might scare the rest of them (ok me).
You got a load of these in you inbox huh? Oh well, I saw them on a site somewhere and thought some looked funny. (But Hipuks’ comment below is making me feel sorry for the dogs again. jk)

Sure but he’s going to have to ride on someone’s back. Our pack is built for speed, chasing birds, (cats), tennis balls & the occasional squirrel.
But it’s kind of like taking your baby brother trick-or-treating when you and your friends are going for the ultimate candy haul.

I’ve already been asked if I would dress up my dog for Halloween. I know dogs eat shit and smell each other’s butts, but I’d like my dog to keep what little dignity he has left.

Mine licks his empty ball sack, all dogs in LA County have to be neutered and licensed. So my dog is way more legal than I am.
