No love for DeBeast
The "experts" over at BSPN have identified their preseason votes for ROY. Predictably, there is no mention of Blair and almost unanimous selection of Blake Griffin.
Additionally, if you click around (I figured extra links would be excessive) Manu gets some love in the 6th man voting and Pop ties with Flip Saunders and Rick Carlisle for COY.

They preface the piece with "Can he live up to expectations and turn the Clippers around. Blair doesn’t need to ‘turn the Spurs around’, so there is no hype for the talking heads to go on about. And at 37th, there is no expectation. Now in our (PtR) view, Blair is ROY caliber, but he will need minutes to even come close to Griffin’s scoring. And scoring is where it is at, for the BSPN.

Spurs players aren’t going to win any awards this season.
OK, maybe one.

Right on. Who cares? As long as we get the big one.
Still, the Finals MVP is up for grabs among the Big 4. We’ll see
To Manu belongs 999 names. 1,000 – 1. One must keep the names hidden in the deep recesses of the soul. Only by uttering the names in utter reverence and sheer terror shall one experience sublime ecstasy. And as one meditates upon each divine name, one ascends into a higher state of enlightenment. Upon reaching the 999th level, one enters Nirvana and comes into the presence of the Immortal One and gorges on alfajores to your heart’s content.
