Welcome to PtR Jalberto!

I’m so glad you have posted these on PTR – now more Spurs fans can enjoy what those of us at mg.com have loved for a long time. Oh, and when the first post said “those are SICK,” that’s a tribute American slang – means they are the best! And for the rest of PTRLand, Jalberto lives in Buenos Aires, is a huge Manu/Spurs fan, and is the absolute master of photoshop!
jalberto, I’ve seen your previous works (posted by LatinD here and those from ST) and they are truly, truly BRILLIAN. Thank you for sharing these, and welcome to PtR as well.

Thank everybody for yours comments!! Nice to know you like them!
Tanks Latin_ D for inviting me to post here and Janieannie for the english spell check of my walls (hehe!)
They are really great, jalberto. Thanks for taking the time to post them here too. Sos lo más. :)

I’m stunned. I’m in awe. Terrific stuff, jalberto.
At the same time I’m completely conflicted. I love the one of Tim, but that Blair wallpaper was calling out to me as soon as I saw it. Then I saw the “green MG” one of Manu and I’m back in my Ginobili/Blair funk. What to do?

If you had seen Hiupks’ artworks you would understand why this is definitely a competition.

I would have put money on your chiming in with that. Too perfect.
Now you owe me for setting you up.

You know how I feel about forcing that. Besides, I’d prefer to hold on to that favor you owe me until something really necessary presents itself.

Not that I actually think that you’d cooperate in any way.

First, I wasn’t picking on you, merely referencing you.
Second, I like it very much. ::looks for exit::
Very much indeed.

I see how you are LatinD. Chuck me under the bus one day, jump on Varner the next for reply fail. But, your fellow countryman shows up and not a peep out of you.

I think I saved jalberto from the passive-aggressive “wrath” of LD by centering the images. :)

To tell the truth, I am a little disappointed for the way this topic has been spoiled with problems that could be solved somewhere else ( Pm, for example) .
I just make walls and wanted to share with you. I do not want to be in the middle of a battle that is not mine.
Now I am sure it was ok : My last Spurs wallpapers… here
Thanks
Don’t mind the chatter around this thread, jalberto. We nitpick things to death around here. It’s all done with love and affection.
Regarding your wallpapers… you are awesome! Thanks so much for sharing with us.

Thanks bellasa. This is kind of you.
My be I don’t understand the internal jokes here, but coming from the head of the blog …. I am not used to this kind of welcome
I really hope that you haven’t been insulted by something less than the welcome you expected. We really love the work you’ve done and I completely respect the talent and time it takes to create your art.
Please continue to share with us. I would hate to lose you over this.

Jalberto, this is my fault. I made a joke at LatinD and then didn’t come back to this thread.
As I told LatinD earlier tonight not knowing that this discussion took place, I’m proud to have your stuff here. I really am. I apologize that you found this offensive and/or disappointing.
We, as a rule, are not on topic. Many times, this is in my own posts. Many of those times I also become disappointed that the discussion drifts away from the topic of the post. Especially when I put a half dozen hours into it. But, that’s how it is around here.
If you don’t post your walls here again, I certainly understand. However, please know that they are both welcome and excellent.

It is ok Wayne. It was my fault too. I know I answered in rude way before knowing how this site works.
forget what I have said.
Just one thing now: Manu prefers the alfajores de dulce de leche. The white ones!!!
Hah. But I like the chocolate ones. I can’t give him the ones I don’t like. They have both though, so maybe I should mix it up.
No, that’s not your fault. I was harassing LatinD and messed up two things. One, I never came back to look at the comment. Two, I never mentioned your wallpapers. While I’m not a wallpaper using guy myself, I never have one, I do think they are amazing. However, they are so good I just assume it as a given and don’t say anything. This same kind of thing frequently gets me in trouble with my wife.

I think group drinking would be more PtR appropriate.
