I’ve got LA, SA, Por, Den, Dal, Utah and the NOOCH. Hmm, not impossible. They’ll have to beat out GSW, Pho, Hou and the Clippers.

I think it will be Phoenix, though.

I won’t be surprised to see Denver battling for an 8th seed. They over-achieved last year and will be back to reality this season.
Really? I have them at four or five. I think they have the PG spot covered (wouldn’t hurt to add a third stringer though), and the guards are descent. Their front line isn’t bad either. I think they’re a good, solid team with okay offense, defense and rebounding.

Heck. Not that I care where they’d stand in the POs.

I hope they stand opposite of our seed. We’ll annihilate their shallow, poorly coached lineup. Plus, it means Portland and LA might be more likely to match up first.
Not likely. Portland should be a top 3 seed, along with the Spurs and Lakers. Unless the Spurs somehow get the #1 seed, they’re going to be playing in the tougher side of the playoff bracket, and have to go through both of the other members of that triumvirate. I know they shouldn’t push themselves during the season, but the Spurs need to realize that there is a definite advantage to getting that #1 seed. Dallas, Denver and the NOOCH don’t scare me nearly as much(read: at all) as Portland and LAL.

You never know though. If Kobe or Roy got hurt, they could struggle through some games and get a lower seed. If all the teams are healthy, they should be the top 3 teams. I’m curious how crazy Pop will be with our lineup and rotations throughout the season. Resting our players could cost us games despite how deep we are.
Portland will have homecourt in the first round, but the Spurs won’t be scared of them in the second. They’ll be good games, but they can’t beat us four times out of seven. LA’s not bad, but for me, irk is the scariest WC oppenent not in purple and gold. I’d rather face Por than Dal.

Revenge for last year?
Funny, I don’t feel emotionally tied to last year’s loss at all. Interesting what a key injury can do to you in that way.
Not sure how I feel about Dal vs Por. I think I’ll need to see some of the regular season go by before I can say for sure, but I’m not sure Dal will gel very well.
