The Internet is fun
Somebody finally figured out how to post pics! I've tried for some time, facing constant ridicule from ATS for my lack of technical skills. But with a cold, slow day at work and special pic-posting instructions from the CMoney, I am now that much more internet-savy. It's exciting, it really is.
To mark this monumental occurrence, I've chosen a special pick to lose my cherry. There's really a lot of pressure when you're trying to decide which picture is worth the inaugural slot.
But in honor of the long-term overwhelming success of our old friends, the phx suns, here's a pic of their championship/winning banners hanging in the US Airways Center in phx. It just makes me laugh, because a picture is truly worth 1000 words in this case.
Other great SPURS pics to follow. And pics, via Bones' request, of the SPURS wall of fame to come as well. My excitement level is at monumental proportions.

the Wall of SPUR
In infamous Wall of SPUR that several of you have requested. I love my SPURS. Many years to collect and harvest, and a point of enormous pride. It’s ever expanding and a constant reminder that I REALLY need a social life. Feel free at any time to contribute to my OCD.

...help, I'm all alone inside this skull..
Great pics. I took a look at the first one, and I was going to comment “Nice. Now that you know how to post pics, you can concentrate on learning how to take them.” But then the pics you posted in the comments didn’t suck, so now I feel like an asshole.
Timing is everything, especially when you’re sitting at work blathering to yourself without an audience.

You do understand that the first pic is supposed to be haphazard and random, right? It’s not supposed to be a picture of anything but empty rafter space. Hence, the hyperbole.
Not that I’m a quality photographer anyway though.

this is the crap I put up with from myself 24/7
Well, yeah, I realize that NOW. At the time, though, it seemed like ripe fodder for a witty put-down. Thus the soliloquy with me trading insults with myself, then me realizing that I had spoken too soon (or in this case, “thought too soon”), then me feeling like an ass for thinking that.
In my head at least, it was mildly amusing. …and I haven’t even been doing drugs today.

Maybe the fiesta logo hates you right back!

which raises an interesting question
Can a defunct logo actually hate? Well, if any are able to, I’d say that the fiesta logo can.
The fiesta logo is incapable of hate. It can only feel love, and an intense craving for puffy tacos on the Riverwalk.

wow – i’m not sure what else could be added to the great wall of spur……oh wait a minute, i do know the answer to that….more championship memorabilia from this coming season.
i once got into the suite level at the alamodome and saw an offical wall of spur there – but i’m here to tell you that your wall is one or two real trophys away from completely killing that one. translation – take away the trophy and that one was crap. your’s is friggin awesome. where did you get tha replica trophy???? and i ask that assuming that it is a replica…..
one note about the alamodome wall of spur: it did have a cool picture of uwe blab.
those..
..are some HUGE thumbtacks, or a really small poster

I got this picture off of ebay...
I think that the seller is using drinking glasses (of all things!) to spread the poster out on the floor for the picture. Apologies in advance if you are being sarcastic and I’m answering your question seriously.

yeah...
all of those pictures are nice, but do you have the Manu, Dave, Tim, Michael, and Tony action figures….? …..???

I have several mcfarlanes
It’s always funny to me how easy it is to miscommunicate on the intertubes. What I meant to do with the lifesize comment, was imply that I had some lifesize action figures of the guys. I don’t think that they exist, but for some reason it seemed funny to pretend that I had some lifesize replicas of Manu, Dave, Tim, etc. at the house. You know, walk down the hall toward the kitchen and high five Manu before making a sandwich.
Ah well, weird sense of humor plus imperfect execution of said humor plus the blogosphere equals a challenge to duke it out.
If you had life-size, poseable replicas of Spurs players in your house...
…I’d strongly suspect that you were a serial killer.

Hey now! Slow down there
I never said that the imaginary life-size replicas of Spurs players would be poseable. That’s taking things a bit too far, don’t you think?

a friend gave me a manu ginobili bobble head
Has anyone noticed that it looks alot like Eduardo Najera?

Well, the fiance took off about a month and a half ago so I’m relishing the freedom to decorate like an 11-year old. Don’t think it was because of the Wall, but if it was I don’t regret it. The Wall remains. And a new prerequesite now exists for tolerating, embracing and bowing before the Wall.

Wasn’t this the same fiancee who was cool enough to run out and bring back pizza in the middle of a Spurs playoffs game?

The very same. But the pizza mojo abides……. I’ll just have to get off my ass and get it myself now.

I thought at least 50% of the pizza mojo came from the fact that it was delivered.
It’s not like just anybody can get a pizza delivered in bumpkinville!

Actually, I was referring to the fact that I may actually have to get off the couch and get my own as opposed to having a cute lady bring it to me. Either way, you’re right…… delivery is best for the juju.
And I can get things delivered, but it’s tougher when I always qualify the deliveryguys by insisting that they “have a purty mouth.”
