Fundraising blog-a-dork-a-thon recap
We finished with a fizzle. The Rocky Mountain Revue screwed us by not streaming the last two games.
All told we had 12 donations for $87.
Powell kicks in $87 in matching.
I kick in $24 in matching.
Let's see ::crunching numbers, thinking hard:: $198.
That doesn't seem right, I'll have to check with Powell. I believe I'm missing one.
Anyway, it was fun. 8 games in 9 days is aggressive and a schedule like that doesn't go over particularly well with a wife. Thanks to everybody that stopped by in the game threads and participated, even if you didn't donate. They were fun and lively.
Also, feel free to head over to the donation page and kick in some cash if you didn't get to during the games because you were in Seattle hanging out with hippies or something.
And without a doubt, I intend to do this next year. Summer League is fun.

Without a doubt, the game threads were more fun than the actual games. Only got to participate once or twice, but it was fun while it lasted. Summer League is a good time-waster while we await free agent (non) signings and training camp in October. Thanks for spearheading this.
How about posting your player assessments and let’s discuss who has a real shot to make the team?

I’m waiting a couple days for some information. You’ll understand when I post. But rest assured, that post is coming.

i am also eagerly anticipating the summer league recap/player assessment post. i dont really know a lot about how many bodies we can invite to camp and how many assignments to austin we can make at the end of the day – perhaps both are unlimited?
either way, i am confident that ATS will have the scoop on this as well as some good insights…so no pressure…..but we’re all counting on you, man.
