The draft

Anyone going to be around for the draft? I've been avoiding all basketball related stuff, but recently I've come out of denial and am hoping we actually draft someone we can use next year. Gosh, that would be superswell! I want Chris Douglas-Roberts. A wing who can slash and score? Yes please. Chad Ford seems convinced that we're taking Nicolas Batum, who is apparently still a work in progress. I'm okay with that if we can bring him over next year (like we did with Tony), but I'm sick of these pick and stashers. Scola and Splitter should have taught us something.

So anyways, anyone else going to be around for the draft? Any good players we should draft I don't know about?

This kid can get buckets in bunches. 6’5”-6’6” slasher, with some shooting ability. I don’t know if he’ll be there at 26, but if he is the Spurs need to take him. I DO NOT want to see them draft Roy Hibbert or pick a guy and then stash him overseas, the future is now Goddamnit!!

so much for hoping the spurs draft an immediate player. no chris douglas-roberts? no two guards? maybe we’ll get someone in free agency, because lord knows our trade opportunities are pretty thin.
