I want a job like this
Yes. I'm bored with my job. I need a new Job.
What can I do?... mmm.. let's see. I want to be an Sport Expert.
Yes.
I will predict results. I will be respected. I will influence people too.
Thats sounds great!
I wanna be like this people:
ESPN Series Analysis / via img37.picoodle.com
And specially, get my money not having ONE SINGLE RESULT RIGHT.
I really don't know if the forecast is what they REALLY think or is what their bosses tell them to say.

Great point. I love ESPN’s “expert analysis”.

Yeah, that’s hilarious. Almost makes me excited to see them all each take NOOCH in the 2nd round!! And to think…. I actually agree with Legler on something now. The apocolypse approaches…

thorpe is interesting. he never talks about stats, but he has some mythical feel for the game. he writes about rookies and the draft - how they’ll transition to the pro game - and i think he either runs a school is florida or works as a scout for a team somewhere.
anyway, i’ve noticed he usually gets things close to right. more than the stat guys i would say.
you ain't a beauty but hey you're all right.

These so-called “experts” were basing their picks on Phoenix’s regular season wins against the Spurs. They knew damn well that the playoffs and the regular season are two different animals, and they picked the Suns anyway. I can’t wait to see their 2nd round predictions.

It’s amazing how they can all have such big smiles in their pictures when they were so, so terribly wrong. Except for Stein, of couse. But he really needs a new headshot b/c there’s no way that a guy with a voice that high should try to pull of the head-to-the-side-looking-sideways-with-no-smile look.
