That was some shit.  Let's hear everybody that's been bashing on FinDog and OldManMuffs come on the board and have bite of crow.  Just a small taste, that's all I'm asking.

Powell, I'm glad to see that you are surfing up some Trek photos on your Friday night!

Wow!  They put up stats against the Knicks!  All-star game, here they come!!!!!!11!!1!!!

Okay, i'm kidding.  But can we at least wait until these guys produce on a consistent basis before we love them again?
And yes, I'm willing to wait for them to produce in the playoffs before I completely write them off.

And I like your post austechspur, please don't take this as a shot at you.  I'll cry...

sorry, that was a lucky freaking win. it's good for the win column, but it was not the kind of game that makes me think they're coming around. if the pound the celtics, that'll be the kind of sign i'm looking for.

Re: My Thoughts on the Knicks Game,
a win is a win..and it wasn't lucky at all. Finley made a corner 3 pointer there was no luck in that. The Spurs came back from 18 down..no luck in that.

They played like shit in the first half and they played like the Spurs in the second half.

Um..the Celtics are pretty good this year..how the hell do you expect the Spurs to pound them?

Any win is a good win, especially with Tony out right now.

A couple of weeks ago..the Spurs would have lost this game. Winning it last night means they are definitely moving in the right direction.

My entire vision of the Spurs beating ANYONE this coming playoffs involves a pentagram of candles, a small frog we've been worshipping as a god, and secretive rituals each midnight before elimination games.

chaos... panic... pandemonium... my work here is done.
