I was supposed to be working on my some stuff for my graduate adviser tomorrow, but obviously i've been distracted. do you think he'll understand "but Manu put up 46 last night...". He's a Russian math professor. yeah you're right it'll be a late night tonight. It's been a tough week for school with Texas beating Kansas and the Manu Ginobili show.

Lastly, the only team to do better than 6-3 on a 9+ game road trip? That would be the spurs.

You just brought my whole world crashing down around my ears. Honestly, this would kill me except the spurs still own the best record on a nine game road trip with an 8-1 in 2002-2003 (at least according to Fox Sports SW).

Still we faced a tougher schedule and had no Parker and did great. I am still pumped. And at least you said nothing to reduce the greatness of the Kansas win. Please don't reply if you have something that does.

cavs were taking (and hitting) a bunch of tough contested shots. you knew the hand of fate was gonna guide some of those aside eventually. credit to the cavs for keeping that up for as long as they did. on the other end, gino was not only cinging the nets, he dished to bowen and mike fin for 3 or 4 treys. that stuff of lebron should be added to his highlight reel (even though LBJ got the ball right back and scored).

a 40+ point 4th quarter?!?!? the hot streak really started mid 3rd. gino and the boys were flat on fire and it was either gino hitting, or gino setting it up. he was he sickness tonite for sure.

good to end the trip and get to the break with two nice road wins over play-off teams.

What a night for Gino. I'm downloading the game tonight - I simply can't miss this performance.

There is a great line at the beginning of the game by the Cavs announcer. Manu drains his first shot, a 3 ball, and the guy says something to effect of, "That's what you have to be careful of with this team." Little did he know.

Yeah, there were some great lines, especially coming from such obvious homer announcers, one of which kept asking the Cavs to kick Gino's ass as a way to cool him down. (Worst announcers I've listed to this season.)

First, at the beginning of the game, they said that Gino was "the wild card for the Spurs". No kidding. And then, near the end of the 4th, one of them just had to admit that it had been "one of the best outside shooting performances [he had] ever seen in all his years as a commentator." I'm paraphrasing.
