Guidelines for Posting Pictures / Links in Game Threads
Before posting a picture or a link, ask yourself the following questions. If the answer to any of them is "Yes," then don't post it.
1. Would the picture offend the most austere of nuns?
2. Does it make you tingle in your special place?
3. Could a hard copy of the picture be used as a form of currency in a maximum security male prison?
4. If the picture were of your sister, would it make you feel weird to post it?
5. Would you feel uncomfortable making it your background at work?
Look. We can all find pictures of cheerleaders on the internet. Don't post them here. If you guys keep it up, I'll start posting pics of my ass. Nobody wants that. Trust me. Trust me.

One question
I completely respect your post, but I’m curious: what kind of donkey do you own?

i have not heard from/seen my ex-wife in a very long time thankfully. now, i know what she has been working on in her spare time. this is a classic.

I’m thinking about just posting a picture relating to this older, completely unknown B movie everytime Powell lays down the hammer of justice. But the ex comment was very appropriate also; I actually thought the same about my ex as well. I think it’s the swinging ice cream cones of fury that did it for me.

Hah. I think I might have brought this one around.
Regarding the cheerleaders, the point wasn’t that they were sexy cheerleaders – they were dunking cheerleaders! That’s almost as awesome as being named WallEye.
Anyway. I guess rules be rules, so no more dunking cheerleaders from me. Too bad because I was saving the best pic for the Houston game. I’ll have to join the Houston blog and post it there – although they’re probably tired of that girl by now.
…
…The best derrière contest link might’ve been overkill. (But it was a link…)

I feel awful...
What I wrote in yesterday’s thread was meant as a joke… you know….
JOKE: Something said or done to evoke laughter or amusement
I happen to like the free style action of the threads and I think for the most part the peeps on this blog do a fairly good job of policing ourselves. In the immortal words of Billy Joel:
Don’t go changing, to try and please me,
You never let me down before
BTW, Latin D… I have to agree, she did have a great behind.
I am happy. I am proud. - Manu Ginobili

No, dude. We all took it as a joke. This didn’t have anything to do with your comment. Powell’s stance on cheerleaders, dunking or otherwise, was clear before. He stated it in his rules for recaps.

I have nothing to worry about......
being as my dumb ass can’t even post a link. I would probably crash my computer if I tried posting a picture. Next thing you know avatars will be banned!

This is why we need Stampler back. He’s more fun.
See, Powell’s like your mean dad who’s really just doing what’s best for you. Stampler’s like your cool uncle who’s a lot of fun. Oh sure, listening to Powell will help you to grow up responsible and successful, but hanging out with Stampler is fun now. And now is all I care about damnit!
Then again, as long as I can make fun of the suns and Manu’s foul (time+tragedy=comedy), I can’t complain too much…

Not trying to start a riot here but have to get my 2 cents in...
1. No these pictures would not offend nuns – nuns have turned their backs on molestation within the catholic church for so long that I doubt these pictures would even phase them.
2. Girls with clothes on attempting stupid things does not turn me on. Besides, they’re from NBA sanctioned events. David Stern sanctioned the pictures!!
3. Guys in prison generally like guys. Or at least they spend a good deal of their time investigating the rectum (“fuckin’ butts” would have been better but I refrained). Even if they were holding out for a girl based porn, I’d say the stuff on here is WAY, WAY too tame for a guy locked inside a cage.
4. My sister would appreciate you taking a picture of her doing her job to the best of her ability. She tried out, she learned the routine and spent hours practicing. Shoot, there were at least 10,000 people there. She can’t believe you missed seeing it live.
5. Having cheerleader pictures as my “background” at work would not make me uncomfortable and would actually serve to help other co-workers make social in-roads.
Besides, isn’t this a sports blog? I just don’t get the hate and would like to understand the reason behind your actions, Mr. Powell. Seems kind of drastic for pictures that are not even x-rated and have been seen at sporting events that people (including grandmothers!) actually pay money to see live.

If the pictures had absolutely nothing to do with sex then they wouldn’t have led to someone posting a link to a woman in a pseudo-thong.
When it comes to the content of this blog, I make the rules. It’s not a democracy.

Ah yeah, that was me again. Em-ba-rra-ssinng…
Totally not a thong, though. Just a supple Brazilian derrière.
And in my defense, since oddly enough I suddenly feel like defending myself (for the last time, I promise), I wouldn’t have posted those pics in a thread. Considering all of the regulars were grownups, I thought they could appreciate the pics in a funny-that-they-actually-have-a-contest-for-this-kind-of-thing-and-can-you-say-HAWT fashion. (Did you notice they even had a male winner for the gals? You’re welcome, girls!)
Probably a faux pas, but I assure you I didn’t link to that for DA SEX. My apologies. Will stick to your rules in the future.

I think one time many years ago Powell played one on one with a cheerleader and she threw down a nasty jam all in his grill. Such an embarrassment that he grew to loathe anything cheerleader and dunk related.

No cheerleaders?
Just when I thought this blog couldn’t suck even worse.
