Blake Ahearn: A new Spur?

draftexpress is saying that we are calling up D-Leaguer Blake Ahearn.

Read the draftexpress info on Blake Ahearn.  He's a 6' 2" guard.  I'm not sure what we would want with another point guard or very short off guard right now.

I haven't seen this anywhere else yet, but these guys are usually pretty on things.  This doesn't sound like the kind of thing people would start  a rumor about.

In order to do this, we will have to cut somebody.  I'm guessing Farmer is the unlucky individual.

Blake Ahearn? You made that up. I would have preferred Jordan Noodlesbury. That man’s a player.

Why couldn’t we have cut The JV?

So even though the Spurs own the Toros, they can call up players from other teams? What does it benefit them to own the Toros then?

by Jason Roberts on Nov 16, 2008 4:47 PM CST reply actions   0 recs

Owning the Toros allows them to implement their offensive and defensive schemes in the minor leagues, carving a place for their roster players who don’t warrant a spot on the main club.

They can ensure the toros have the oldest roster in the western world, making it easier to slot like for like in and out of the Spurs.

Looking at the photo of him, if he grew long black hair, he would be a mini-Manu.

I’ve never heard of the guy, so I had to assume right off the bat that it was probably true.

Geeze, can we just get Mahinmi up already

Okay, just so I understand it... in your wildest fantasy, you are in hell. And you are co-running a bed and breakfast with the devil.
