I just wanted to see what everyone thought of this article. I personally love Simmons, I know not everyone does, but I was really appreciative of this article. It has been needed to be written for like the last 3 years, so its about time. I wish it would have been a bit longer though but the Harrison Ford/Timmy analogy is right on and very Simmons-esque. Timmy is definitely one of a kind.

The Harrison Ford comparison is nice. His Kobe/Mamba articles are hilarious too. But the real issue behind his point is the NBA's lack of promotion of players with Duncan's ability, accomplishments, and sportsmanship. I realize that Duncan's self-promotion is not exactly the forefront of his concern, but the message is obvious when the best power forward in the history of the game can be classified as "underrated." This an era where chest beating, mean mugs, and showmanship are glamorized and WINNING, team players who conduct themselves according to the rules are given the backseat.
