News Rundown - The Tuesday After
Sorry for the late post. Busy studying for the bane of my existance - O-Chem.
I honestly think that this all-star game was the most boring in recent memory. It's a sad statement that Bill Simmon's stories from the all-star game was more entertaining than the game itself. Bah. Anywho, on to the news.
With the trade deadline approaching, the question for Spurs fans should not be if the Spurs should make a move (since it's pretty clear that they should), but rather, who on this team outside of the big 3 still has value?
Among the suprising answers is Beno Udrih, who might attract attention from Danny Ferry's cavs.

Another point guard that's in the news is Jason Kidd. If Kidd goes to LA, and doesn't require LA to part with Odom, we might be the 6th best team in the West. The bad news is that the Nets seem increasingly desperate to get rid of him.

And the Lakers need Kidd, for they just lost another player for an extended period of time.

In the Spurs front, the Spurs got reinforcements today for their frontline in the form of a recently acquired (and quite estatic Melvin Ely) and a recovered Matt Bonner.

Don't look for any more help anywhere else, though, as the Clippers are still adament that they're not, in fact, trading Corey Maggette.

The last story is probably the best Buck Harvey article in awhile, as it hits the heart of the matter. If the Spurs want postseason success, Tony has to be Manu circa 2005. An absolute postseason explosion. I'm not holding my breath
