spurs win 98-89; and we see these guys again next weekend. this game is close since frenchy is still out, but our half court defense has been batter lately. JV cant be this hot forever....can he?

spurs finished the 6 game stretch of play-off foes even up at 3-3.  i'm sure we wanted better, but we were banged up and had/have guys missing games and playing hurt all over the place.

i'd be thrilled to get either a new pair of basketball shoes; or a new pair of golf shoes for christmas.

Now that those feculent Phoenix Suns have ruined that for me and completely dashed my belief in Santa Claus, I'll settle for an official Red Ryder, carbine action, two-hundred shot range model air rifle BB gun, with a compass in the stock and 'this thing' which tells time!

i want a new computer for x-mas. i'm using the work laptop since mine crapped out. i don't like putting personal software on the work laptop.

my brother works for one of don sterlings relatives. he got us tickets for spurs v. clippers on jan 6 at staples.

It's more than just Manu not playing tonight guille. It's the entire team, they win as a team and they lose as a team. Manu is in a slump, but this a fucking ridiculous performance tonight by everybody, but hey it's just 1 of 82. I knew there was going to be an ass kicking tonight, but I didn't expect the Spurs to be on the receiving end of it.

Damn, what a comeback, but alas, when you come out lackadasically like that, you really don't deserve to win the game. I still say it's all good though and I look forward to a strong close to this month. But they way, I wish there was a way both Phoenix and Dallas could lose tonight. I hate both of them...

if the other team scores more points than you, you don't deserve to win. i can honestly say that memphis didn't deserve to win for losing a 23 point lead, but that really does not matter. it didn't matter when the spurs came back from down 20 in game 7 vs dallas, it didn't matter when fisher took the .6 shot, and it didn't matter (for the lakers) when horry clanked the final comeback shot in 2003.

last nights game was shit.  plain and simple.  worst game of the year by far.  i would say that 3-3 in a tough stretch of games was a little less than we had hoped for, but it is also a factor the SA was short-handed.

last night's memphis game: different story.  this is the type of game that can send you sideways for a stretch if you are not careful.  its the kind of game that you might look back on when you make the #2 or #3 seed in the west.

if i am pop, i'm kicking some ass for the next two days and knocking the rust off with my bare hands if necessary.
